Jane and Fiona established Associate Development Solutions (ADS) Ltd in 2011 in response to the need for reliable, high-quality independent expertise to support public sector services. Since then, Jane and Fiona have grown the business with a carefully handpicked team of subject matter experts with the drive and professionalism to deliver on their vision. Together, they provide bespoke solutions for service and professional development, underpinned by public sector expertise, to both the public and private sectors.
Jane Sedgewick
Director

Jane has a passion for development work, whether that is developing individual people, groups of people, partnerships or services. Her experience reflects this passion and includes management, leadership, tutoring, lecturing, training, mentoring and coaching. She has extensive expertise in project and programme management at a strategic level, and has undertaken the development of programmes where she has involved users of services, as well as staff, in the change process.
Jane is also a qualified mental health nurse with extensive experience of working with all types of organisations involved in health and wellbeing and specific expertise in understanding how cross-sector working can effectively meet the needs of people who use services. Partnership working is a key strength of Jane’s. She has experience of service development and delivers this with vision and strong transformational leadership using a variety of tools and facilitation techniques, whilst maintaining a sensible and practical approach. Jane’s experience of working within the public sector, both nationally and regionally, includes planning, commissioning, overseeing and reporting to national organisations and government departments on large projects with external partners.
Dr Fiona Warner-Gale
Director

Fiona is a senior transformational leadership and applied neuroscience practitioner. Throughout her career, she has held senior leadership and academic positions within the public sector and private sector.
She brings a wealth of expertise, from executive coaching, group coaching and facilitation, leadership development and purposeful approaches in organisation and she is enthusiastic about the application of neuroscience in individuals, leaders, teams, and organisations. She is committed to enabling people to grow and understanding how they can thrive and excel in everyday life and professional situations, through brain-based approaches.
Fiona brings a unique perspective to her work, as she is specialised in the mental health field, where she has worked as a clinician/therapist, leader, academic and author for over 30 years, with experience in both prevention and early intervention, as well as challenging forensic and residential environments.
Fiona is committed to developing mental wellbeing and resilience in people and brings a keen sense of empathy and compassion to all that she does – whether it be supporting people with their mental health, developing leaders and teams, or working alongside organisations to transform their ways of working. She is also qualified at PhD level, with significant knowledge of research methodology, bringing a strong analytical focus to her work in service improvement and professional development.
Steve Cudmore
Head of Service Development

Steve is a simplification and process improvement leader with over 20 years’ people management experience (over 300 FTE) and a strong track record of delivering results across manufacturing and service environments, private and public sectors and B2B & B2C businesses.
John Neary
Sector Specialist and Clinical Lead for Therapies

John has an expert knowledge in providing specialist clinical interventions, supervision, training and leadership, underpinned by over 20 years’ experience working in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services. He is a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist and Registered Mental Health Nurse.
Amanda Newman
Senior Sector Specialist

Amanda brings an exceptional depth of knowledge, skills and experience in all areas of children’s mental health and leadership to the team. She has 32 years’ experience working within the NHS as a CAMHS Mental Health Clinician, including ten years as a Matron, Service Manager and Leader.
Colette Procter
Sector Specialist

Colette has considerable experience of delivering successful service improvement across health and local authority environments, combined with strong training development and delivery skills. She is a qualified Social Worker with 20 years’ experience, including over 10 years working clinically within children and young people’s mental health.
Zoe Powley
Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist

Zoe Powley is an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist and Registered Mental Health Nurse with over 25 years’ experience of working clinically within a variety of mental health settings.
She has used her expertise to contribute towards development, implementation and evaluation of clinical packages for guided self-help, therapeutic groups and online therapy. Zoe has also gained extensive experience in providing clinical supervision and academic teaching for a number of universities and NHS trusts.
Heather Petch
Business Administration Manager

Heather has over 30 years’ experience gained through employment in a variety of finance and administration functions. She has worked within the public and private sector and is able to bring transferable skills to Associate Development Solutions. Heather is excited to join the team and the new personal challenge each day will bring.
Paul Anderton
Sector Specialist

Paul has worked in the field of children and young people’s mental health for over 31 years, over 20 of which as a senior service manager. In addition to the operational management of effective high quality services, he has a successful track record of service innovation, development, and transformation. These include the implementation of the QS80 standard into Early Intervention in Psychosis Service, including two-week referral to treatment pathway, the implementation of the two-week assessment target in Eating Disorder Services, and the implementation of first wave Children and Young People’s Improving Access to Psychological Therapies in Lancashire.
Paul is a registered mental health nurse and experienced clinician, with experience of working with young people and their families and carers, in both the community and in-patient services.
Bry Hodgetts
Associate

Bry brings a unique set of skills and knowledge through her own lived experience of accessing services as a young person, and her several years spent as a member of the Midlands Young Advisor team. She also has an interest in research, having studied Psychology at masters level, and enjoys combining her two roles to improve the experiences for children and young people struggling with their mental health, through both participation and research.
Josie Barraclough
Business Administration Assistant

Josie has a varied background ranging from studying canine behaviour to administrative roles in a variety of sectors. She holds an FdSc in Canine Behaviour and Training and a BSc (Hons) in Canine Behaviour Management from Hull University and has worked in the public sector within the county court judiciary system. Josie brings a wealth of experience to the team at Associate Development Solutions and is looking forward to the new and exciting experiences the role will bring.
Jasmine Wilson
Midlands Young Advisor Lead

Jasmine’s passion for mental health has stemmed from her own experience of supporting a family member. She holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Psychology, and has previous experience working in the education sector. Currently, the Young Advisors are training students to become Mental Health Ambassadors within their schools, in the hope that this will further raise awareness about the importance of mental health. Working with the Midlands Young Advisors has inspired Jasmine to continue to champion the voices and experiences of young people, while making sure that they are at the centre of all the work we do.
Gemma Jones
Sector Specialist

Gemma has 18 years’ experience across public, private and community mental health sectors, including inpatient care, internationally. Her most recent roles include serving as Service and Operations Manager of Youth Community Mental Health Services in both Early Psychosis and Primary Care in Australia. Her expertise in leading services through significant organisational change and service delivery adjustments arising from external impacts, such as the recent pandemic, benefitted these roles.
Gemma has successfully led teams through service design and operationalisation, internal and external quality and fidelity evaluations and peer-assessing mental health services across Australia. During this time, she developed skills in strategic and forward planning, tender applications and multi-service and team management.
Gemma’s passion for transformational service delivery and team clinical and professional development is demonstrated through improved workforce retention, clinical pathway improvement and innovative demand-management solutions.
Simon Warner
Freelance Technology Consultant

Simon, a freelance PRINCE2 project manager and lead software architect with more than 20 years’ experience in the IT sector, has delivered complex, collaborative multi-site projects across the globe.
His extensive knowledge and experience includes stakeholder management, mentoring, technical writing and the complete software development lifecycle. He also advises on data protection, privacy and security in accordance with UK and EU privacy laws.
