Recruit to Train

Suitable for clinicians with a psychology or other health-related undergraduate degree, Registered Mental Health Nurse or HCPC-registered professional relevant to children’s mental health. Training in nursing, social work, occupational therapy, counselling or within a psychological therapy.

The Recruit to Train (RtT) offer from NHSE WTE (formerly HEE) is to pay 100% salary and training contribution in respect of trainees who are appointed to new posts to provide evidence-based treatment for children and young people within children and young people’s mental health services.

Clinicians are trained to become Cognitive Behavioural Therapists who can work with children and young people and their families, presenting with depression, anxiety disorders, OCD and post-traumatic stress disorder.

CYP IAPT Trainee Systemic Family Practitioner

One year Full-time
