The opportunity

Associate Development Solutions is a small, independent organisation, providing a broad range of services in consulting, currently focused on mental health, service development, leadership and research. Our digital arm, ThinkingThrough…, provides therapy and coaching and we also will be developing, with young people, our social enterprise, Parlez!. We need marketing across all three complimentary brands.

Our core values include treating people well, honesty, integrity and creating client-focused solutions and we believe in, and live, inclusion and diversity. Our overall purpose is:

Empowering and inspiring every person and organisation to realise their full potential and to have a better life. Together we will make change for the better.”

Having worked with our team on our vision and found the right people with the right skills, we have recognised that in order to progress we need someone with skills in marketing and communications. Our focus over the next five years will be on growing our business, and that is where you come in. You will need to help build our brands at a local, regional and national level, in a way that supports our business strategy and growth plan and enhances our client relationships. This includes the promotion of courses in leadership and coaching, as well as our consultancy work.

The successful applicant will be UK-based and will work from home as part of a remote team, with occasional travel to sites if required.

Your responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working across a range of channels, including digital, print and in person, to support the production of content aimed at growing our customer base
  • Using effective communication, branding, public relations and other strategies to build and maintain our reputation
  • Co-ordinating the distribution of marketing materials across all channels but particularly digital
  • Helping to build a relationship between our businesses and our customers (existing and prospective)
  • Undertaking appropriate market research and gap analysis to identify new opportunities and supporting the team in making informed business decisions
  • Creating engaging and interesting content, including targeted business messaging, that builds brand awareness across both public and private sectors and helps boost sales
  • Writing and proof reading communications
  • Running projects such as the creation of marketing collaterals (videos, brochures, ads, etc.) and virtual events
  • Being part of larger projects, supporting the delivery teams with communication materials
  • Taking part in team brainstorming, coming up with creative ideas and feeding back design/content
